About Me

As an Army wife (but not the kind on Lifetime) and SAHM to three little hooligans, I started this blog as a creative outlet.  Yes, mostly because everyone at my house was tired of listening to my big ideas and endless chatter. I hope you’ll find some inspiration here, whether it’s creative or just makes you laugh, and that you’ll visit often!

Hey Sandy! Hope y’all are well…I think of you often, but can’t find time to write an email! In the upper right sidebar, there should be an “email” button..a little envelope…where you can subscribe. Thanks for following my misadventures!

    Hi Megan!!!!
I am still reading your awesome posts every day and we are definitely GOING GOLD! I found the vintage blue Ball jars…six for $11.99 on sale today at Shopko! I hope I got a good deal. The original price was $19.99 so I at least feel like I did. 🙂 Do you have any more ideas for crafting with them? For now, I may just use them for cotton balls and q-tips. 🙂
I hope you are all as well and happy as ever, and even though you haven’t been gone from WI long, you are missed! Hugs to the kiddos!!!

That makes me smile, Sandi…both that you’re Going Gold and that you’re still reading the blog! We’re unpacked and pretty settled, but I haven’t had much crafting time…thank goodness it’s only a week till school starts…then I’ll think of some more ideas for the blue jars! They work well for PB M&M’s…the kids don’t notice them in there! Hugs to your kids, as well! (And Finn lost 3 teeth during our move…good thing our tooth fairy packed the special gold dollars she leaves!).

hello! I wanted to know where you got your orange plastic tab folder from? I am on a hunt and i cant find them anywhere, S.O.S.!

    Thank you!

    • Megan says:

Hi Dayna! Unfortunately, I think those were from the dollar spot at Target last spring. They’re not plastic, though, just coated cardstock. My lighting was really bad when I took the photos, so there’s a giant glare on them. I’ll keep an eye out for similar ones, though, and let you know if I find any!

ohh ok, darn! they really should make these things in orange (im partial because its my favorite color :-p ). Thank you so much for responding back though!
