Thanks for stopping by my blog! The hats I wear include wife (to a retired Army field artilleryman), mom to three super busy teens, and high school math teacher. In my “free time” I love cooking, reading, creating (mostly papercrafts), photography, travelling, and exploring the PNW with my family…you know, all the usual things!
I hope you’ll find some inspiration, entertainment, and something that makes you smile here. I look forward to hearing from you!

Banana Fluffernutter Sandwiches (with Homemade Fluff!)

Kid Cooking: Slumber Party Sweet Rolls
Here’s a great thing about my kids: School day or not, they are up and going at the same time. Oh-dark-thirty. Seriously, the five- and seven-year-olds must love spending time with me so much, they hear me making coffee with … Continue reading

Quick and Simple Chunky Knit Cowl
I am overly ambitious when it comes to making knit projects to give as gifts. Thus, the pile of UFO’s (Unfinished Objects) on the shelf in my craft closet. I first panic that I can’t finish it in time for … Continue reading
