It’s almost here! The new Stampin’ Up! annual catalog, that is! I placed my preorder at the first opportunity, because I couldn’t wait to play with the new In Colors and a couple of new stamp sets. Of course, I saved my really big wish list for June (yes, my birthday money is always spent before I even get it!).
But, look! I wanted to show you a card using some of the new colors and stamps.
This card uses Baked Brown Sugar and Coastal Cabana cardstock, and you can see two other In Colors in the stamping…Strawberry Slush and Crisp Cantaloupe. The stamp sets are Mosaic Madness and Really Good Greetings. I also used the new Mosaic Embossing Folder, just to show it off a bit. The only new In Color not in the card is Pistachio Pudding. Don’t the names of these colors just make you crave summer?
I’ll admit, when I saw these colors for the first time, the creative corner of my heart did not do a little happy dance. When they arrived, though, and I held them in my hot little hands, I did get much more inspired by them, especially these four colors. I’m still not feeling the love for Pistachio Pudding, but I’m sure by the time the creative team at Stampin’ Up! rolls out their ideas, I’ll come around and want to use it, too!
