Hot Cider Thanksgiving Favors

Sure, you’ll send your guests home with leftovers, but why not slip one of these little cider packets in as a special little treat?

These little packets are an oldie but goodie.  To make it, simply seal an envelope closed and cut off one end, using a decorative die, punch, or scissors.  A packet of hot cider mix or hot cocoa fits perfectly inside, and you can embellish the front in any way you’d like. We even made these for my husband’s entire battery once, as a Christmas card.  They come together really quickly in an assembly line method.

I created the subway art label using Photoshop, and I’ve put it online for you to download if you’d like! You can download a sheet of 9 labels, each about 3”x2-1/2” or a full sheet size one.  It’s about 8”x10”  so would fit in a frame and be a lovely addition to your Thanksgiving décor.  Just click on the links below to download.

Phewy, where were you with this delightful little creation last week? We had a get together with our Bible study group and do you think I could come up with a clever idea for favors? Sigh–I hate getting old. Love the subway art labels. Now to get a printer that will do them justice. (I have three that are availble for boat anchors if you need them.) LOL

I wish I could use a boat anchor…but since I’m landlocked here (okay, so Lake Michigan is 20 miles away, but it’s not the ocean!) you’ll have to find someone else! Sorry I was a day late and a dollar short with the idea…I’ll remind you next fall…hopefully in person!

I love reading your comments, and I'll very likely reply!
