Christmas Card Monday…and a Giveaway!

I am so excited today, people!  Chaos Served Daily’s Facebook page went over 100 likes this weekend…woo-hoo!  I know, it’s a small number in blog-land, but it’s a giant number in Chaos-land…and I hope you’ll continue to read along and share with your friends. I feel incredibly blessed that so many of you enjoy my crafts, recipes, and general chaos…thank you, thank you, thank you!

To show my appreciation, I’m hosting my first-ever giveaway.  And what’s the prize (’cause I know you’re on pins and needles)?  A set of twelve handcrafted greeting cards (your choice of a Christmas variety or  a mix of all occasions) AND a $10 Starbucks gift card…so you can sit and sip a latte while writing your cards!

This contest begins Monday, October 22, 2012, and ends at Sunday night at midnight, October 28. 2012. The winner will be notified via email on Monday, October 29, 2012. Just follow the Rafflecopter form below to enter, and Good Luck!

a Rafflecopter giveaway And now on with my normal Monday morning Christmas Card post…

All Stampin’ Up! supplies:  Heart of Christmas stamp (Item 128129, $8.95); Snow Festival DSP, Gumball Green and Whisper White Cardstock; Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green Markers; Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags (Item 128152, $3.95 for 25);Apothecary Labels Framelits; Cherry Cobbler Bakers’ Twine; Vintage Trinkets

I just love this sentiment stamp and think it sums up the whole Christmas “feeling” perfectly.  I also wanted to make a card using the Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags to showcase their versatility.  While they’re a great value even if you only use them as gift tags, they’re also fabulous as a layer on a card.  And did I mention that they are double-sided? Well, they are! Hope you’re becoming more and more inspired to create your own holiday cards…and I’d love to see them!

  4. Way to go! Congratulations on reaching this first milestone. You will be surprised how much faster your page grows after reaching that first 100. Love today’s Christmas card as well. It reminded me of my stepmom who was so passionate about everything Christmas and had Christmas in her heart year round.

Thanks so much, Minette! It’s been a process, to say the least, to learn my way around the blogging world…and I’m still only dipping my toe in, with lots left to learn. Glad you like the card…CHristmas cards are my favorites to design.

  5. Minette again, had to try the Rafflecopter out. I haven’t used that before, that’s slick! Fast and easy to use and didn’t ask for too much information.

Congratulations on the milestone! I’m so excited for you! I keep telling myself that I need to make a Facebook fan page for The Bright Side. Maybe this can be the nudge that I needed to finally make it happen.

Yes, you should! I just created mine in August, so it took about 2 months to get to 100…but I didn’t really push it until I got to 80 last week, then asked my friends to spread the word. I’m enjoying reading your blog…i bet you’d have lots of “likes”! So are you still liking your Ninja? We need a new blender, but I can’t decide what brand I want.
