Christmas (and Thanksgiving) Card Monday

Yep, it’s a two-fer day!  I just wanted to show you how very versatile the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack (Item 126904, $6.95) in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog can be.

First, for Christmas:

Supplies:  Seasonal Sayings stamp set; Very Vanilla Cardstock; Festival of Prints DSP Stack; Cherry Cobbler marker; Merry Minis punch pack; Signo White Gel Pen; Scallop Border Punch

This card came together in nothing flat. I used the gel pin to draw the cord for the lights, which were quick to punch out with the Merry Minis.

But, wait, there’s more…for Thanksgiving:

Supplies:Seasonal Sayings stamp set; Very Vanilla Cardstock; Festival of Prints DSP Stack; Early Espresso and Island Indigo markers; Ribbon Slide; Scallop Circle punch; Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon

The accent is just five Scallop Circles, 4 of them folded in fourth, then adhered to the fifth.  I fluff them up a bit to add dimension and texture.

I even used this same card sketch (because I think it lends itself to any card) here, on a Halloween card.  And I’m sure you’re tired of hearing it, but I think this Seasonal Sayings stamp set is virtually perfect…Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day…in addition to “Celebrate” for any occasion.  I’m just sayin’. No pressure for you to order the most perfect stamp set ever. Really.

And remember, it’s never too soon to start planning what wonderful handcrafted cards you’re making for the holidays!
