Still Lovely as a Tree

Tree-birthday

All Stampin’ Up!: Lovely as a Tree and Sincere Salutations stamp sets
Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Chocolate Chip, and More Mustard cardstock and inks
Scallop Circle and XL Oval punches; Cutter Kit; Sponge Daubers

I know, you may have made this at a Stamp-a-Stack at my house sometime. I confess, I didn’t just design this today…but it’s one of my all time favorite birthday cards. It’s so much fun to use sponge daubers to make the fall foliage, and distressing the edges always makes cards more interesting to me. I also crumpled the tree paper after it was stamped and colored, then flattened it out again to further distress it.

We’re expecting our first snow flurries of the year here in Wisconsin today, so I felt the need to post a warm, cozy card. Hope you like it!
